the article describes the peculiarities of legal regulation of the contract of Maritime Agency. The author systematized the signs of a marine agent-a commercial representative. At the same time, the peculiarities of the business agreement, which can be concluded by a marine agent, are indicated. In conclusion, the distinctive features of the variety of commercial representation in the form of a contract of Maritime Agency are presented.
