PROBLEMS OF DEVELOPMENT OF NON-RESOURCE INDUSTRIES: CURRENT STAGE

The article substantiates the necessity to implement a balanced industrial policy with regard to the development of non-resource industries. The state of industry in modern conditions is shown. The problems of priority spheres of activity that promote the spread of innovations in other sectors of the economy (machine-building complex, energy industry, chemical and petrochemical industry, automotive industry) are given. The authors identify the main problems of development of non-resource industries at the present stage as limited financial resources, shortage of qualified personnel, insufficient level of technology and infrastructure development, low competitiveness in the world market.
