Taxonomic analysis of the fauna of armored mites inthe vicinity of Makhachkala, Republic of Dagestan

The article presents a taxonomic analysis of the fauna of armored mites in the vicinity of Makhachkala, Republic of Dagestan. Extraction of oribatides from the soil substrate was carried out by the Berlese-Tulgren method. Olympus CH-20 and MBI-6 microscopes were used to identify species and sample oribatids. The faunal composition of the armored mites of the vicinity of Makhachkala of the Republic of Dagestan has been revealed. As a result of the conducted research and processing of literary sources, a total of 131 species of shell mites belonging to 86 genera and 49 families were found.
