Algorithms of cutting card compression by two-dimensional gravity simulation model

The problems of obtaining maps of optimal cutting of sheet materials arising in use of common software packages are described. An original algorithm for compression based on the idea of patterns as a two-dimensional bodies with non-zero mass, exposed to gravitational effects is given. It allows to improve the quality of stacking for 5-12%.
