Economic losses due to premature mortality in patients (up to the age of life expectancy) with diagnoses of schizophrenia spectrum

Estimated total economic losses from premature mortality of patients with schizophrenia in psychiatric hospitals of the city of Moscow; estimated economic and social burden (on a fairly representative sample) mortality in patients diagnosed with schizophrenia are able to work and at the time of death working. Was used one of the two components of DALYs: Years of Life Lost (YLL) and years lost (lost) life - the difference between life expectancy and age at death of the individual. The obtained results are statistically significant and correlated with literature data (YLL ratio averaged 15.7; number nedith to life expectancy years of age in men was on average 4.4 years longer than women (18,8 and 14.4 years, respectively)).
