Protected capacitive switch with digital interface

The article describes the design and features of a protected capacitive switch with a digital interface. The analysis of the reliability of capacitive sensors, widely used in today's market, in conditions of high humidity. As a result, their weaknesses were revealed. Based on this, aspects of the development of a protected capacitive switch are considered: its circuit design, algorithms for software signal processing, a digital interface system with a PC, as well as a structural solution of the switch body.
