Respiratory simptomatics, periodicity and reactivity of bronches in adolescents with patients with allergic diseases

Expeditionary epidemiological survey was subjected to 1950 adolescents aged 14-18 years, of which urban residents were 1,020 (52.3%) adolescents, rural residents - 930 (47.7%). Allergic diseases were detected in 583 (29.8%). Our investigations have established that a part of patients with allergic diseases (31.3%) have respiratory symptoms, bronchial obstruction, and bronchial hyperreactivity, which are markers of bronchial asthma. This allows conducting a complex of pulmonological studies (FVD, pyclofometry, functional-pharmacological tests with bronchodilators and bronchoconstrictors) in such patients.
