Aim: to estimate possibilities of ultrasonic pathotopographical anatomy and advantages of ultrasonic methods of research at fine needle aspiration puncture biopsy (FNAPB) in diagnostics of tumors of mammary and thyroid glands. Methods. There were 957 patients at the age from 30 to 52 years in this investigation including 535 patients with focal tumors of the thyroid gland, among them women – 60%, men – 40%, and 422 patients with breast tumors. The standart complex of diagnostic measures was used for all of patients: clinical inspection, laboratory tests, ultrasonic methods of investigation, computer tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, also fine-needle aspiration biopsy of tumors with subsequent cytological inspection. Results. The first group included 131 (24,48%) patients with cancer of the thyroid gland, 101 (18,88%) patients with adenoma, 303 (56,64%) – cyst of the thyroid gland. The second group included 130 (30,8 %) patients with breast cancer and 292 (69,2%) patients with benign tumors of different echogenicity and size. Pathological formations were revealed by dynamic ultrasound intraoperative diagnosis of tumors. Conclusion. 1. Ultrasonic pathotopographic diagnostics of tumors of mammary and thyroid glands which was proposed and developed by us allows to differentiate benign and malignant tumors. The ultrasonic topography of fasciae and muscles keeps in the benign process of the thyroid or mammary glands; in the malignant process the topography of fascial-muscular structures changes around the gland. 2. Ultrasonic pathotopographic diagnostics of tumors allows to visualize topographic-anatomical variability in real-time. 3. The method of puncture biopsy which was proposed and developed by us is atraumatic and highly effective for prevention of iatrogenic complications.

Keywords:intraoperational ultrasonic diagnostics, dynamics, neoplasms of the thyroid gland, neoplasms of the mammary gland.
