Franchising as a form of cooperation: An attempt at analysis

the present paper contains an analysis of existing approaches towards franchising. We demonstrate that existing definitions are based on a single feature of franchising and do not encompass all its nature. Characteristic features of franchising are listed. A new definition based on these features is proposed.
