The economic cooperation of Venezuela within MERCOSUR

This article revealed the place and role of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in MERCOSUR integration association. The author analyzed the basic macroeconomic indicators of countries participating in organization and studied the peculiarities of trade and economic development within MERCOSUR. Particular attention is paid to the commodity structure of trade in Venezuela and MERCOSUR. In conclusion, the author outlined the main positive and negative aspects of participation in MERCOSUR for each country.
