Legal regulation of parallel imports in the Eurasian economic Union

in accordance with the current regional principle of exhaustion of exclusive rights, marked goods may apply to the EEU if it was put into circulation on the territory of any member state of the EEU by the rightholder or with his consent. Importation of marked goods into the territory of the EAEU countries is allowed only by the owner or the entities that have received the consent of the copyright owner of the entry. The restriction is aimed at protecting the interests of the holders. Entrepreneurs-importers of marked products should be aware of this limitation in order not to fall under the ban on further implementation of the goods and, consequently, damages its the result.
