Some repetitive core crimes peculiarities in Russian Far East

The research showed that one of such peculiarities is high re-offending rate in the Far East, which is 83% higher than in Russia countrywide and 19% higher than in Siberia federal district – neighboring region of the country. This paper represents the analysis of one of the main determinants of core crime in the Far East federal district – the recidivism. The personality of the offender, committing core crimes in the Far East is also analyzed. Based on statistical, empiric and scientific data the author examines the connection of reasons and peculiarities of core crime in the Far East. Conclusions are made about the possibility of reducing core crime in the Far East by influencing the causes of the recidivism.
