Innovative activity as a trend of structural modernization of the engineering industry: aspects of a new model of development

The features of the organization of innovative activity in the context of the formation of a new model of development are analyzed. Attention is paid to the innovation model, which provides for the search for ways of development, which are based on innovations in the stage of final use. Some types of machine-building products with innovative character, requiring effective modernization structure of domestic innovation activity are analyzed.
