Development of the market of educational services in higher education

The article is devoted to the study of educational market development trends providing the labor market with qualified personnel. The article considers the structure of the modern market for vocational education services in Russia. Using statistical data, the article analyzes the dynamics of various indicators of higher education organizations in the Russian Federation for 1990 - 2017. The following trends in the development of the market of educational services in the field of higher education were identified: an increase in the number of non-governmental educational organizations, an increase in the number of part-time students, a decrease in the total number of admissions to universities, an increase in the share of paid educational services, and a change in the structure of students in areas of training. According to the study, features that characterize the modern market of educational services in higher education are summarized.
