“Freemium” business model as an innovative opportunity for agile promotion of mobile applications to the market

The current article analyzes the “best practices” of implementation and identifies key success factors in promoting mobile applications in highly competitive digital markets. The authors view the promising freemium business model as one of the most effective monetization strategies. Analyzed success criteria for applications confirm this thesis, and also indicate that the presence of a favorable business environment (“business agility”) significantly increases the likelihood of successful launch of a product on the market. The article also structured key tasks and issues that need to be addressed in order to use the “freemium” strategy with the greatest efficiency due to the “agile” approach to management.
