To the question of the essence and content of the concept “safety” in the field of health

Security in the health sector is considered as an administrative and legal category and as an integral part of the state and national security of the country. The analysis of existing approaches to the concept of "security" and its meaningful characteristics is carried out. Based on a comparison of the opinions and positions of other authors and an analysis of the current legislation, the goal of ensuring safety in the healthcare sector has been established and the author’s concept of “safety in the healthcare sector” has been formulated.
