Today, there is an increased dependence of commercial banks on credit risk, due to which they have become vulnerable. The banking sector is important, as it redistributes cash flows, being an intermediary between various economic entities in the economy. That is why today the importance and the need for an organized, professional and balanced management of problem loan debts in Russian commercial banks is increasing. The aim of the work is to study and analyze the problems of identifying the deterioration of asset quality and the use of various financial schemes in a commercial bank taking into account the Russian and foreign experience.
