International maritime law: the legal status of the oceans in the United States, China and the Russian Federation

Human activity in the sea space, of course, is not limited to the development of its resources and, as a consequence, its pollution. The oceans are also an important geopolitical, legal and economic arena for many countries. So, for the countries of the North Pacific Ocean - the United States of America (hereinafter referred to as the USA), the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the PRC), the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the RF) (hereinafter referred to as the countries of the North Pacific) - whose policies will be considered in this work, the sea is of fundamental importance in achieving certain state goals, taking into account the international position and status of each of the above states.
