Analysis of prerequisites of fraud behavior in the construction industry

The article examines the manifestations of fraudulent behavior as one of the forms of deviations in the business conduct of affairs on the example of the investment and construction industries. It is noted that it is necessary to form a new approach that meets the challenges of the time to identify fraudulent behavior as one of the ways to implement corruption in enterprises that participate in the development of new territories, including objects geographically distant from the center of Russia. Corruption poses a threat to the development of society and entails the formation and functioning of the shadow economy, which directly encroaches on the foundations of the state and society, destroys competition and deforms society. Comprehensive and timely studies of the shadow economy, fraudulent behavior as a way to promote corrupt services contribute to the development of a set of organizational measures to prevent various kinds of abuse by officials in power and distortions that need to be introduced into information to camouflage abuse of power, including collusion of investment and construction participants. processes as inseparable in the course of the spatial development of the country. The novelty of the work lies in the fact that the prerequisites for fraudulent behavior in construction have been studied. With the help of Donald Cressy's triangle, the possibilities of fraud in construction were investigated and the conclusion was made about the presence of the fourth - the social factor as influencing the commission of fraud during the development of territories.
