This article examines the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the following lockdown restrictions on the educational process in Moscow universities. The authors put forward hypotheses about the adaptation and, in general, the perception of online learning by university students and its comparison with classical learning in university classrooms. To confirm or refute these hypotheses, the authors developed and compiled a questionnaire for a survey of students, conducted a survey, processed, analyzed the answers of the respondents. Based on their analysis, the article concludes that students adapt well and generally perceive online learning positively. Thus, a student spends less time preparing for an exam in an online format than preparing for an exam held in the classroom, the level of stress of a student on an exam in the classroom is much higher than in an exam in an online format, and it is subjectively easier for students to take an exam in a test format, than in the classic.
