THE IMPACT ON DEMOGRAPHIC PROCESSES OF THE MIGRATION OUTFLOW OF THE POPULATION OF THE NORTH-EASTERN REGIONS OF CHINA: ON THE EXAMPLE OF HEILONGJIANG PROVINCE

This article raises the issue of population outflow from Heilongjiang, an important exporting province of strategic resources such as crude oil, grain and timber. In China, it is one of the provinces with “high production”, which contradicts the rapid decline of its population. The purpose of this work is to study the causes of population outflow. The objectives of this article include: analysis of statistics related to the migration situation in the region; study of the phenomenon of Chinese expansionism in the Far East of the Russian Federation. In this study, general scientific methods were used – analysis and synthesis, as well as a systematic approach. The author came to the following conclusion: despite the fact that China is an extremely densely populated country, it is not protected from the outflow of population from some regions, which negatively affects the development of the economy.
