PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORT AS A MEDIATOR OF THE SOCIAL MATRIX AT THE PRESENT STAGE OF SOCIETY DEVELOPMENT

The article attempts to comprehend the role of physical culture and sports in modern conditions of the development of society. It is noted that physical culture and sports as a social phenomenon are interpreted differently in different eras, both by the elite of society and by the majority of the population. The natural, physical activity inherent in man as a representative of the animal world is formed in each culture in certain forms that correspond to the mentality of the community and solve certain real problems of survival. It is emphasized that the current state of the social structure is characterized by instability and tension. In such a situation, physical culture and sports are one of the few social elements that can provide a dialogue between people. Natural body language, inherited from distant ancestors, in a state of stress of life, becomes an important communicative tool. In the education system, the subject “Physical culture and spot”, being obligatory and unified, can be presented not only as a natural state of a person, but also as a significant means of establishing a dialogue between young people, through their recognition of objective kinship with others. It is possible to connect cultural artifacts that are different in form and content with understanding, using the common basic properties of people, and physical culture should become one of such mediators in the modern world order.
