The problem of the formation of ethnic enclaves on the territory of the Russian Federation has become not only relevant in legal terms, since this phenomenon is strategically designated as a threat to national security, but political interest has also been shown in it. In modern scientific works, an ethnic enclave is considered, first of all, as a socio-economic phenomenon. The legal content of an ethnic enclave is determined by those characteristics due to which the need for special legal regulation of relevant migration relations objectively arises. The authors of the article offer their own definition of the term “ethnic enclave”, which has legal content.
