The article discusses the legal regulation and measures of state support for small businesses in foreign countries. In addition, small businesses abroad have been identified, trends in the development of small businesses in individual countries abroad have been identified, and the functional orientation of small businesses in foreign countries has been outlined. The analysis of various aspects of legal regulation and state support of small businesses in foreign countries, carried out in the article, is associated with the important role of small businesses in the economies of all countries of the world. Particular attention in the article is given to the consideration of basic approaches to establishing the legal basis for small business in foreign countries. The article also draws attention to measures of state support for small businesses. As a result of considering issues of legal regulation and state support for small businesses, it is concluded that it is advisable to borrow certain mechanisms of state legal regulation of small businesses and support for businesses abroad to develop entrepreneurship in Russia.
