ABOUT SOME ISSUES OF LEGAL REGULATION OF FEDERAL RELATIONS IN RUSSIA

The article is devoted to the analysis of the state structure and federal relations in the Russian Federation, considering the historical evolution and modern challenges facing the system. The key aspects are the articles of the Constitution regulating the composition and status of the subjects of the federation, as well as their rights to self-determination. Despite the availability of detailed legislation, there are uncertainties and legal conflicts that give rise to conflicts and destructive practices on the part of regional authorities. The author talks about improving the organizational foundations of regional policy, including the development of a unified tariff policy and an adequate housing program, which will contribute to improving the standard of living of the population.
