THE GENESIS OF THE RISK MANAGEMENT CONCEPT: PHILOSOPHICAL AND ECONOMIC APPROACHES

The article examines the issues of globalization and uncertainty, indicates the connection between the processes of globalization and the phenomenon of risk, as well as international regulation and standardization of processes generated by globalization, including social and economic risks, provides an understanding of risk in the scientific literature, substantiates the scientific expediency of applying a philosophical approach to the problem of social and economic risks, analyzes the difference between the accepted today with a look at management risks and an approach to management risk control based on the philosophy of stoicism, it is proposed to make a transition to an alternative understanding of risks as existing (real) prerequisites for adverse events or events and a positive reliable analysis of the causes of these prerequisites, and from it to the development of regulatory measures that prevent these prerequisites. The purpose of the work is to analyze the philosophical and economic aspects of the risk management problem. This goal necessitated the need to explore the concept of risk; to analyze scientific and philosophical views on management risks, as well as the possibility of using a philosophical approach to controlling management risks in a globalized society and economy. As a result, an alternative understanding of risk is proposed as a scientific novelty and an approach to the control of management risks based on the philosophy of stoicism is formulated.
