individual aspects of industry development are considered with an emphasis on innovation dynamics as one of the value guidelines of the concept of technological development adopted for the period up to 2030 and aimed at giving mechanical engineering enterprises a growth direction; problems are identified that enterprises solve in the context of industry specificity, and directive management methods can contribute to clearly expressed solutions taking into account anti-crisis or arbitration management of the mechanical engineering industry; prospects for the development of innovative activity are outlined.
