LEGAL EDUCATION OF VOTERS AS A FIELD OF ACTIVITY OF ELECTION COMMISSIONS

The problems of legal education of the younger generation represent a wide problematic field for scientific research, especially within the framework of an interdisciplinary approach. One of the problems attracting the attention of the scientific and professional community, government agencies, and public organizations is the legal culture of youth, in particular in the field of electoral law. The legal worldview, legal culture and the legal behavior formed on their basis characterize a citizen as a subject of socio-political life. In this regard, the formation of the legal worldview and the legal culture of voters is one of the priorities of the national scale. Law enforcement activities, as one of the activities of election commissions, are becoming increasingly important. Based on the Concepts of improving the legal culture of voters implemented in 2022-2024 and adopted for 2025-2027, the author analyzes the organizational and methodological foundations of legal education for the younger generation. In the course of the presented research, a summative methodological approach was applied, based on a combination of general scientific and private scientific methods and principles of cognition of state-legal phenomena. The article notes that the effectiveness of the law enforcement activities carried out by the election commissions is confirmed in the data of opinion polls.
