PROBLEMS OF IMPORT SUBSTITUTION IN THE MEDICAL INDUSTRY IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND LEGAL ASPECTS OF COMPLIANCE OF COMPANIES WITH THE CRITERIA FOR THE PRODUCTION OF RUSSIAN INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS

The medical industry in the Russian Federation is one of the foundations of the organization of healthcare, and, consequently, national security in the state, the welfare of citizens, which is why the proposed research topic seems relevant. The article discusses the key problems of the Russian medical industry during the implementation of the import substitution policy and under conditions of economic restrictions. Particular attention is paid to the area of legal regulation aimed at supporting domestic manufacturers. An analysis of changes in legislation was carried out and needs were identified to clarify the statistical data necessary for the development of strategic regulations for the industry, as well as to unify the definition of groups of medical products that fall under the criteria for Russian-made products. The need to make appropriate changes in order to fully support domestic manufacturers of medical equipment and products is justified.
