Species composition and ecological groups of birds of the Ulagansky mountain plateau (Eastern Altai)

Based on the data of five-year observations, the results of studies of the avifauna of the Ulagan plateau (Eastern Altai) are presented. It was found that the species composition of birds has 168 species of 39 families and 16 groups. Depending on the nature of the habitat, nutrition and appearance, the birds of the area were divided into a number of ecological groups and life forms. Allocated 6 ecological groups, 18 groups and 62 life form of the birds of the area.
