Fractures of the mandible, general characteristics, clinical features and treatment methods

The article describes the features of the treatment of this type of injury of the maxillofacial region, as a fracture of the lower jaw. It is noted as the introduction of modern methods of osteosynthesis has reduced the time and improve the results of treatment of victims. The possible circumstances of injuries and their consequences are described. The article describes the first steps in closed and open osteosynthesis of the jaw. The indications for osteosynthesis of the mandible are listed. There are advantages of using titanium miniplates.
