Comparative evaluation of the results of laparotoracoscopic versus «open» esophagectomy type Ivor Lewis in treatment of esophagodic cancer

The article presents data from a comparative analysis of the immediate results of laparothoracoscopic and open esophagectomy Ivor Lewis according to the following criteria: duration of surgery; duration of anesthesia and duration of mechanical ventilation; duration of postoperative stay in the intensive care unit; volume of blood loss; the duration of the postoperative fasting stage; the duration of inpatient treatment; the degree of radicalism of the operation to morphologically confirm tumor resection within healthy tissues and the number of removed lymph nodes; the incidence of esophageal-gastric anastomosis failure; the frequency of pulmonary complications; the frequency of cardiovascular complications; 30-day mortality.
