Seasonal dynamics of pH and hardness of drinking water in Moscow

The analysis of data on the indicators of total hardness and pH of drinking water collected during the period from August 2017 to April 2018 was conducted. The maximum permissible concentrations for these indicators were not found, the quality of drinking water in the Moscow region corresponds to GN 2.1.5.1315-03. The highest concentration of hardness salts and the greatest deviation in the alkaline side is observed in the drinking water of the central administrative district of Moscow. Also in the study was established, graphically reflected and justified the seasonal dynamics of the studied indicators. Statistical analysis of the data was carried out. A direct statistically significant correlation between the total hardness and the pH of drinking water has been established.
