Medical value and biological properties of proteinogenic amino acids on the example of beta-alanine

Non-proteinogenic amino acids are amino acids that under natural conditions do not participate as components in protein biosynthesis and are significantly different from 20 proteinogenic amino acids. The article defines the concept of "non-proteinogenic amino acids", covers basic properties of beta-alanine, reveals its basic biological and medical value.
