In accordance with the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1316-p dated July 8, 2015, which established the “List of pollutants for which measures of state regulation in the field of environmental protection are applied” (hereinafter - the List of Governments) [1], it is necessary to standardize and control 94 radionuclides in atmospheric air. Controlling NPP emissions of all 94 radionuclides is a difficult technical and organizational problem; therefore, a reasonable reduction in the number of controlled radionuclides remains an urgent task. The purpose of the proposed article is to consider approaches that allow solving the set task.
