The problem of complications after knee replacement

The article highlights the problem of complications arising after knee replacement. The prevalence of osteoarthritis in the world and in Russia is presented. It is shown that at present knee replacement is the most effective way to treat gonarthrosis. The frequency and structure of complications leading to revision arthroplasty are discussed.
