Fractional composition of fatty acids of blood serum lipides in patients with type 1 diabetes complicated by ketoacidosis with diastolic left ventric dysfunction

The analysis of the fractional composition of serum lipids in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus complicated by diabetic ketoacidosis and having left ventricular diastolic dysfunction. Changes in lipid fatty acid composition were revealed in the form of an increase in the proportion of saturated fatty acids and a significant decrease in the pool of polyunsaturated fatty acids. The informative value of the echocardiography method was demonstrated to assess early disorders of the diastolic function of the myocardium in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus complicated by ketoacidosis.
