The article presents data on the determination of the area of the tumor suppressor protein ARF, responsible for the activation of non-selective autophagy in human cells. In experiments on osteosarcoma cells it was shown that activation of nonselective ARF-mediated autophagy occurs with the participation of C-terminal portion of p14ARF protein. The deletion of the C-terminal area disrupts ARF-mediated autophagy in tumor cells.

Keywords:autophagy, tumor suppressor, ARF, deletion.
