The work is dedicated to a group of patients with a combination of several complicated forms of gastroesophageal reflux disease. The sampling structure, demographic and clinical features were studied, the safety and effectiveness of the use of a comprehensive treatment algorithm, which is based on the performance of antireflux surgery, including in comparison with patients with isolated complicated forms of gastroesophageal reflux disease, were evaluated. The study was conducted on samples of 127 patients with a combination of several complicated forms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (main group) and 427 patients with isolated complicated forms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (control group). Based on the results obtained, the following conclusions are made: a typical patient of the main group is a man aged 46-63 years; the high prevalence of hiatal hernia in patients of the main group indicates the feasibility of including antireflux surgery in the algorithm for treating this pathology; the combination of several complicated forms statistically and clinically significantly worsens the results of treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, however, the safety and feasibility of performing antireflux surgery allows us to recommend a complex algorithm for treating patients with a combination of several complicated forms of gastroesophageal reflux disease with a mandatory reservation on the need to develop measures to reduce the frequency of perioperative complications and postoperative relapse of gastroesophageal reflux.

Keywords:treatment of complications of GERD; antireflux surgery; peptic esophageal stricture, Barrett's esophagus, erosive reflux esophagitis, a combination of several GERD complications.
