The aim of the work was to review and systematize the literature data on the pathomorphosis of schizophrenia of comorbid cannabinoid dependence. The study found that against the background of the global trend of an increase in the number of people who abuse cannabinoids and the number of people with dependence on them, the number of patients with associated mental pathology, in particular patients with schizophrenia, also increases. Timely detection, correct diagnosis and an adequate approach to the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with "dual diagnosis" will help to avoid early disability and improve their quality of life.
