Efficiency of comprehensive rehabilitation of patients with ulcerant colitis

The results of rehabilitation of patients with ulcerative colitis are presented. Modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors for ulcerative colitis are discussed, with an emphasis on regional characteristics and their influence on the course and rate of disease progression. As part of the optimization of the rehabilitation program, the prospects for the inclusion of cytokine therapy in the Program for the Comprehensive Rehabilitation of Patients were analyzed. A prospective study was conducted with a follow-up endpoint of 12 months to assess the prospects for the inclusion of recombinant leukinferon (Roncoleukin drug) in the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Program. The drug has a proven immunomodulatory effect and was included in the therapy of outpatients during a period of stable remission or minimal disease activity.
