Procedure of design and adjusting the reverberation effect in audacity® software complex driven by nyquist programming language

The paper covers engineering and technical aspects of audio material processing by computer methods. Audacity® editor and Nyquist programming language are basic auxiliary technical means for the material processing. The paper both from theoretic and practical point of views considers one of the most problematic issues in the area of computer engineering — reverberation of audio data. Relying on the impressive spectrum of technical manuals and carefully crafted problem oriented literature the author carries out the analysis of issues affecting the applicative features of audio signal formation by using simulation algorithms. Simulation of sound reverberation algorithms are the basis of ongoing research. Guided by his own technical experience as well as programming practices the author suggests personal concept of applying reverberation algorithms to processing audio material. Spring-controlled comb reverberation plug-in being developed by the author could be used as one of the samples when spatial emulating for the formation of 3D effects enriching of composition with original design. And in some (special) cases — when restoring the audio material. The argumentation of the author in favor of using the Audacity® software complex as a multifunctional tool for processing audio material allows expanding the multidimensional facets of scientific discussion in this area. Such a discussion will undoubtedly shed light on many areas concerning private engineering practices of audio processing.
