Herpesvirus infections are an actual problem of pediatrics and pediatric infectology. The purpose of this article is to study the etiological structure of herpesvirus infections in children hospitalized at the Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS and Infectious Diseases, Nalchik. The study analyzed the etiological structure of herpes infections in hospitalized children according to case histories for the period from January to June 2022. 1067 case histories of two infectious departments were studied. On the basis of the results obtained, conclusions were formulated that allow one to form an idea of ​​the etiological structure of herpesvirus infections in children of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
