The article discusses the environmental problems that arose as a result of the construction of the Gotsatlin hydroelectric power station in this area. The authors have studied the adverse effects of hydroelectric power stations on the flora and fauna of the area, the characteristics of the animal and plant diversity were given, rare species that live in this territory are highlighted, as well as recommendations for preventing the influence of hydroelectric power stations on the species diversity of the animal and plant world of the studied area.
