ECONOMICALLY VALUABLE PLANTS OF THE GRASS-SHRUB LAYER OF PINE FORESTS OF THE «KONEVSKY BOR» NATURAL MONUMENT (TYUMEN REGION)

Kulyasova Oksana Alekseevna  (Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor, State Agrarian University of Northern Trans-Urals (Tyumen) )

The article presents the results of studying the species composition and abundance of useful species of the grass-shrub layer of pine forests of the «Konevsky Bor» natural monument. 55 plant species from 45 genera and 24 families are of economic value. The largest group of medicinal plants includes 38 species, of which 5 species are included in the State Pharmacopoeia. 35 species are characterized by high decorative qualities, 3 of them are listed in the Red Book of the Tyumen Region. The forage species include 18 species of the herbaceous-shrub layer, and 15 species have honey-bearing qualities. 12 species of plants are edible, among them berry plants have particularly valuable nutritional qualities and high abundance. The group of industrial plants includes tanning (8 species), dyeing (7 species) and essential oil plants (4 species). Due to the low abundance in the layer, the most promising direction for their use is the selection of valuable species for subsequent introduction into culture.
