Osipova Olga Leonidovna  (Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Human Anatomy with a course of topographic anatomy and operative surgery of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education Siberian State Medical University)

Timashov Evgeniy Alekseevich  (Surgeon, "Madez" Women's Health Center")

Arterialization of veins is a common operation in cardiovascular and plastic surgery. The key aspect of a successful outcome is the adaptation of the venous wall to new hemodynamic conditions, including increased pressure and accelerated blood flow, which affects the durability and functionality of the vessel. In this study, a histological study of morphological changes in the wall of the femoral vein of rats after its arterialization for periods of 1 to 30 days was conducted. The data obtained can be used to optimize surgical techniques, including coronary bypass grafting and reconstructive microsurgery.

Keywords:venous bypass, coronary artery bypass grafting, arterialization, venous flap, histological adaptation.
