Structure of social identity and peculiarities of its effect on the tolerance level of students

The study of the influence of the structure of social identity on the level of tolerance of students. Theoretical analysis of scientific research of the process of formation of modern ideas about social identity, its structure and dynamics showed that: in the conditions of social instability, personal identity is the leading and determining direction of social identity, the crisis of social identity in the post-Soviet space significantly affects migration, socio-psychological adaptation of migrants and ethnic tolerance-tolerance, as well as the formation of tolerant attitudes is of particular relevance for multi-ethnic and multi-confessional Russia. The diagnostics of the level of development of the components of the structure of social identity and the level of their tolerance. Identified: types of gender identity of students, their ratio in boys and girls; the level of development of civil and national consciousness, the ratio of students with low, medium and high levels of citizenship, anti-citizenship, tolerance, intolerance. It is established that to the senior courses: indicators of femininity and masculinity of students decrease and indicators of their androgyny increase; the number of students with an average level of tolerance decreases, the proportion of respondents with an average and high level of citizenship and high level of tolerance increases. The influence of the components of the structure of social identity on the level of tolerance of students is statistically proved and the features of this influence are established.
