The formation of personality maturity

The article is devoted to an analytical review of theoretical approaches to the study of socio-psychological mechanisms of the formation of a person’s personal maturity. It is shown that the formation of personality maturity obeys the general laws of ontogenetic development in the context of a person’s life path. The socio-cultural determination of the formation of maturity of a person in the process of individual human development is shown. The essential characteristics of personality maturity are revealed through an understanding of subjectivity as an internal being of a person. The criteria of a mature personality are described.
