Epistemological strategies of Plato and Husserl

The epistemologies of Plato and E. Husserl are compared. Despite the huge historical period dividing traditions from the ancient Greek to the German philosopher and different semantic contexts of the concepts chosen for comparison, it is revealed that for knowledge of true knowledge both philosophers suggest to begin with clearing and contemplative, and to finish speech acts. The difference in philosophers ' approaches to the problem of knowledge of the truth is highlighted. The article uses dialectical and phenomenological methods of research, historical-philosophical and comparative analysis of texts.
