Development of cognitive interest in children of senior preschool age

the development of the cognitive interest of older preschoolers is a pressing issue of modern preschool education. The article presents various approaches to the definition of cognitive interest, its components, characteristics, levels and stages of development, the conditions for the effectiveness of the process and its features in senior preschool age are considered. The authors presented a diagnostic model and the results of diagnostics of cognitive interest in children of a pre-school group of a pre-school educational organization.
